FOLLOW THE NUMBERS

The math,
without the mystery.

Three steps from your current revenue to a possible recovery scenario.

  1. 01

    The unfinished checkouts

Estimate abandoned-checkout value from completed revenue and the share of checkouts left unfinished.

    Revenue × abandonment ÷ (1 − abandonment)
  2. 02

    The people you can reach

Apply the share with usable contact details, iMessage access, and permission to receive your messages.

    Abandoned value × reachable share
  3. 03

    The orders you could recover

Apply your assumed recovery rate to the reachable group. Multiply by 12 for the annualized estimate.

    Reachable value × recovery rate

The model assumes the same average order value for completed and abandoned checkouts. Annualized figures assume 12 identical months.

A LITTLE CONTEXT

Your numbers.
Your assumptions.

Use the estimate to start a conversation about your store.

Are the starting values benchmarks?

No. They’re editable planning assumptions. Use your own store data where available. This calculator models a scenario; it doesn’t predict or guarantee DotReply’s results.

Why can abandoned value exceed my monthly revenue?

Your revenue represents completed orders. At 70% abandonment, only 30% of initiated checkouts complete. The model estimates the unfinished portion using the same average order value as completed orders.

What do reach and recovery mean?

Reach is the share of abandoned checkouts you can contact through iMessage. Recovery is the share of that reachable group you estimate will complete an order.

Is this additional revenue beyond email and SMS?

The model doesn’t measure incremental lift or subtract orders that might convert through another channel. Existing flows may also influence these orders. We’ll discuss where DotReply fits—and how to assess the added value—on your demo.

Is the result revenue or profit?

It’s modeled gross recovered revenue before DotReply’s revenue share and your costs. It isn’t profit. There’s no subscription: if DotReply doesn’t recover revenue, you pay nothing.
